The prestigious international travel magazine, Condé Nast Traveler (Spanish edition) announced its candidates for the 2009 awards in the various categories of tourism. The Gold List, published in this edition, includes TAP in the category of Airline Companies. In all, 15 airlines from around the world have been selected for voting, which will take place until late February 2010.

The following hallmarks of quality from Portugal are also included: Portugal (country), Lisbon (city), Madeira (islands), Lapa Palace – Lisbon (city hotel), Quinta da Romaneira – Douro (hotel outside a city), Choupana Hills – Madeira (resort) and The Vine – Madeira (spa).
