Next winter Blue1 will open two new routes from Europe directly to the heart of Lapland, Kittilä.

From 17th and 19th of December on travelers can fly straight from both Paris and Düsseldorf once a week to taste the northern magic with Blue1 scheduled flights. The Paris-Kittilä flight will be operated on Saturdays and Düsseldorf-Kittilä on Thursdays. In addition, a weekly direct flight from Moscow to Kittilä is also in Blue1 plans.

“We have a very positive co-operation with the main tour operators both in France and Germany and together with Finavia, Lapland Travel and Visit Finland we are developing Blue1′s position as preferred carried in these markets. Last spring we analyzed all the European markets for their potential to Lapland and here are the results. We have practically ´sold out’ the Paris-Kittilä flights already for the whole season. The French market has a huge potential for Lapland – like the German market as well”, says Kristiina Holtari, Sales and Marketing Director for Blue1 in Europe.
