Asiana Airlines (President & COO: Young-Doo Yoon) invited immigrated women from the Philippines, Thailand, Mongolia, Canada and Bangladesh along with their children to experience a day in the life of being a flight attendant.
As part of a give-back-to community program, a total number of 54 participants from 19 multicultural families of 8 different countries were invited to the Asiana Training Center at the headquarters in Osae-Dong.
Children and parents wore flight attendant uniforms and experienced various flight attendant training education including greeting etiquette, walking, in-flight emergency training, make-up application, and service role-playing.
Lusia Maria(49) who moved to Korea 11 years ago from the Philippines said, “Becoming a flight attendant is every girl’s dream in the Philippines. The life of a flight attendant is like a dream for my daughter and I”
Asiana Airlines will have ‘The 5th Charity Bazaar’ on 15, May at Asiana headquarters, Seoul, Korea. The money raised from the sale of various items at the charity will be donated to those in need. 41,000,000 KW was raised from selling 3,000 items at the charity bazaar last year and the funds were donated to the Beautiful Store and a senior citizen organization in Gangseo-Gu.
Asiana Airlines will also hold a number of events celebrating Children’s Day. A Pilot Experience Event will be held for children who live in Yangcheon-Gu in collaboration with the Airline Pilot Association on 30, April. A Photo zone will be installed in front of the check-in counter at Gimpo Domestic Airport on 5, May. A complimentary map of the world will be given to children flying from Gimpo Airport and Inchoen Airport from 1 to 5, May.
