10 September 2008 // This morning at the company headquarters, the Extraordinary Administrator for Alitalia-Linee aeree italiane S.p.A., Prof. Augusto Fantozzi, held a meeting with representatives from the trade unions and the professional associations who are signatories to the collective contracts for each category.
The Extraordinary Administrator informed the union representatives that he will be taking steps to terminate all the collective contracts and existing agreements, on the basis of the situation that existed at the time of his appointment. Prof. Fantozzi also announced that it would be necessary to start up mobility
procedures in the near future, as provided for by the law, in particular decree. no. 134 of 28 August 2008.
The above actions are also required in order to ensure operational continuity, according to the principles of extraordinary administration, as well as for the positive outcome of the negotiations underway.
The Extraordinary Administrator also expressed his hope for the positive and rapid outcome of the negotiations underway at the Ministry of Labour.
