Malév adds Bratislava and Košice as new destinations to its network

Malév launched its express bus services on 13 July linking the Slovak capital, Bratislava, and Košice with the Malév hub of Budapest Airport, which make it easier to reach the network of the Hungarian flag carrier. The direct coach services are operated by Budapest Airport Minibusz. The new offers also represent a perfect choice for passengers arriving in Budapest to reach these destinations in Slovakia. Malév offers the new flights for €44.

From 13 July Malév offers express scheduled coach services four times a day supplying a rapid and convenient transfer between two cities in Slovakia (Bratislava and Košice) and Budapest Airport. The direct links with flight numbers are covered with the quality express buses of Budapest Airport Minibusz company. On one hand this allows the Slovak travelling public to access the extended route network of the Hungarian national airline directly and in a far more convenient way than previously. On the other hand the new direct coach flights offer a comfortable service for all Malév passengers arriving in Budapest from Europe and the Middle East to reach these destinations. Customers can book an integrated return ticket for €44 for the new services at any travel agent and booking systems already offer these special Malév coach flights.

“Slovakia, as a dynamic and growing country, represents a key market for Malév, and we are very happy to add Bratislava and Košice as new destinations to the Malév network, thereby linking Slovakia to our European and Middle Eastern flights,” said Karim Makhlouf, Chief Commercial Officer.

The Hungarian air carrier offers a ready and proven travel solution to the Slovak travelling public who have only limited and poorly served air traffic options in Slovakia.

Malév and its partner airlines provide full service flights from the Budapest hub to 66 destinations. The flag carrier, as a member of oneworld, offers its customers the opportunity of accessing 700 destinations in 150 countries onboard the alliance’s carriers.

Malév offers eye-catching discounted fares in its regular marketing campaigns. For instance, the Crazy Offers online campaign puts up air tickets from the astoundingly low price of €99 (inc. tax) each week, from Thursday to Sunday. (For further information go to www.malev.com)

The airline and airport operator reckon that the new service will attract new travellers to Malév, providing them with quality and value-for-money services.
