British Airways is introducing a dedicated check-in area for business class customers from tomorrow (Wednesday, September 3).
The area, located at Zone H at the far end of Terminal 5 next to the First class check in area, will be clearly signposted for Club World and Club Europe passengers.
Customers are still encouraged to check-in online and select their seats up to 24 hours prior to arriving at the airport on www.ba.com/managemybooking, but the dedicated area also offers the option of check-in kiosks and for those customers with hold luggage or more complex trips fast bag drop and customer service desks.
Paul Nickson, Terminal 5 customer experience manager, said: “We’ve had more than seven million customers through Terminal 5 and have received great feedback - it’s working well now. We’re looking forward to moving a further 30 longhaul flights into the terminal on September 17. This increased capacity means that even more business class customers are flying through Terminal 5 so it’s a good time to introduce the dedicated zone.”

Just came thru T5 and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by how smoothly everything went. Seems to me they finally worked out the bugs they had initially, and this has the potential of becoming a great hub. Beats SkyTeam’s CDG affair by a mile!
