In compliance with the decisions taken by the Company’s Board of Directors today, Alitalia has requested admission to the receivership procedure as envisaged by Law no. 39 of 18 February 2004, and subsequent modifications, most recently with Decree no. 134 of 28 August 2008.

Alitalia Traffic Increases at Rome And Milan Airports

As part of the upward trend in traffic at Rome Fiumicino airport, Alitalia reported a 35.6% rise in passengers carried for the period August 1-24, against a 29.1% increase in the number of seats offered, compared to the same period in 2007.
